Single Parent Retreat and Student Vacation

WORK HARDER—NO HAND OUTS

• Students will participate in raising the funds for the Single Parent Initiative
• Students must complete a minimum of 250 community service hours annually
• Students will coexist in a non-segregated environment, experiencing the power in treating others as they would be treated
• Students must participate in all created activities

PLAY HARDER

• Students will participate in a one week paid vacation
• Students will be responsible for committing 1-day of vacation to learning some significant history about the city
• Students will dedicate 1-day to volunteering with an organization working with kids or elders
• Students will create a video log to educate other students about the lessons learned during their vacation
